Cambridge Portfolio project

 Hi everyone, it’s Nadia.

Welcome to the start of my journey to creating my first original piece of media.... Wish me luck.

Today we finally started discussing the parameters of our film opening. What is allowed, expected, and the work that must be put in. I’m feeling overwhelmed, but also excited for what will come out of this. The idea that I have complete creative freedom for this is honestly scary. My mind is running through a thousand different possibilities of what my piece can consist of, and I am having trouble narrowing it down. I truly want to create something that I can look back on and be proud of, as well as something that inspires those who watch it. It really comes down to what would best help me portray a creative, original idea. Do I do choose to go the horror, comedy, romance, mystery, drama, or hundreds of other routes possible? How can I create something truly meaningful with almost no experience in this industry?

Unlike my past projects, I want to truly put my soul into this one, rather than just completing it. This is a process I want to enjoy and completely immerse myself in. This marks the official start of the documentation process behind my project, let’s get started.
